as far as i've seen riga fashion week, i'm pretty disappointed with few exceptions...it's feels that some designers can't think of smth new, just copying stuff from others. here is the worst collection to my mind by Qoo Qoo  ( i mean -  really? smth like this was cool 4 years ago)

home for purse

i took part in one of the open air vintage festivals, a very nice event, organized by agnese and retrospectro .  i hope i will take part also in the next oavf on june as well.  but today, reading agnese's blog i discovered where one of wowowo vintage purses has found it's home. the purse was bought by designer katya shehurina . and now her mom wears it. sweet <3

i have a special love for iceland and also icelandic designers. living in iceland influenced my personal style and love for fashion a lot. here you can check out reykjavik street style.

but i wanted to write this post about a designer named sruli recht, who lives in iceland. he is actually australian, but he moved to iceland few years ago. the thing i like about his designs is that he envolves things like lava and other stuff from iceland. actually veto magazine has done an interview with him.
 the things he make are very very strong and beautiful. i'm in love with his capes.

1. very wanted blue suede skirt

2. very boyish but cool jacket blouse with strips. it reminds me of  gabrielle chanel (maybe because i'm reading a book about her)

before the third concert of "okarte's academy", i must show you my work for the concert #2. guys were singing latvian hits. i dressed Laima, Made and Ivars.  Laima sang a song by latvian ricky martin - lauris reiniks - sirds sadeg neparasti, and she wanted to look like hippie. Made sang a song by arnis mednis -radio,radio and her theme was disco. Ivars sang one of my favourite  songs by livi - dzelzsgriezejs, and he..well he had to be a rocker.
